This isn’t the first time Kimmel has been in the spotlight for politics. He recently caused headaches for Republicans with health care.
He and Sen. Bill Cassidy had a big shebang over the issue. Kimmel told Cassidy that the bill is a waste of time.
He had said “this guy, Bill Cassidy, he just lied right to my face.”
His comments seem to hit a nerve. Not long after the bill failed to be approved. John McCain also had an issue with the bill.
Kimmel was considered a champion for the people on health care. He made his feelings clear on the topic and openly denounced it.
Kimmel has certainly made himself a household name. His thoughts on whats going on in the Political World carry some weight.
When it comes to criticizing the Trump Administration Kimmel ranks high. He has been very outspoken when it comes to what Trump does.
Trump Jr. apparently wants Kimmel to turn his direction to someone or something else. His hash tag asking for a friend seems to imply such.
It seems unlikely that Kimmel will be turning his attention from the Trump Administration anytime soon.
