Trump Readies For War With North Korea And NFL

The President seems to be on the war path. He has refused to back down on his stance towards North Korea.

Trump has also refused to back down on his stance towards the NFL protests. The President has been very outspoken about the NFL and has recently asked the players to stand during the Anthem.

He hasn’t shown any remorse towards his statements about Kim Jong-un either.

Trump looks set to take on anyone who will stand in his way. The two leaders could be in for a face off, since both seem undeterred.

With the NFL a clash could be less likely as the Constitution has no law against the protests.

North Korea

Rex Tillerson had said he has a direct line of communication with North Korea. But that won’t matter as Trump isn’t about that.

Trump tweeted “I told Rex Tillerson, our wonderful Secretary of State, that he is wasting his time trying to negotiate with Little Rocket Man.”

Trump has already made up his mind about relations with North Korea it seems.

He said “save your energy Rex, we’ll do what has to be done!”

Tillerson had said “we are probing, so stay tuned.” This was said to reporters in China. He asked North Korea” would you like to talk?”

An official for the U.S was asked about Trump’s tweet and gave this response.

The official said “at a time when North Korea is continuing its provocations. The President does not think now is the time to negotiate with them.”

NFL

Trump seems to be making some ground with the NFL. Or maybe it is the fans that are causing the protest to quiet down a bit.

This week has seen less players and team members protesting during the anthem.

The President tweeted “very important that NFL players STAND tomorrow, and always, for the playing of our National Anthem. Respect our Flag and our Country!”

There have been mixed emotions on the subject. The largest protest came recently after Trump spoke out at a rally.

His words were greeted by many who were angered by his remarks. Now things have quieted down a bit.

Trump has asked that the flag and Country be respected. Images have appeared all over the media showing the President doing differently.

Many other people question the use of the flag on merchandise. The flag has even been painted on buildings and vehicles.

The Constitution says that is illegal, but is doesn’t have any laws on kneeling during the anthem.

The question is what can or would the President do if many continue to protest. It isn’t illegal so what would Trump do about it?

The biggest impact of the protest could be how good or bad it will be for business.

Nevertheless North Korea and the NFL should beware; Trump could be on the war path.
