Sessions And DOJ
In the midst of the ongoing trial Donna Brazile exposed Clinton. This has now added more fuel to Trump’s fire against Hillary Clinton. She has been accused of using the DNC to beat Sanders in Party elections.
“A lot of people are disappointed in the Justice Department, including me,” Trump said. He made this comment after the story broke.
Trump said “honestly, they should be looking at the Democrats.” He said this to reporters as he left for his Asia tour.
Sessions told the investigation committee he knew nothing of any interference. But he will reappear in front of that committee after Papadopoulos claimed they knew.
Senator Patrick J. Leahy said “he now needs to come back before the committee, in person, under oath, to explain why he cannot seem to provide truthful, complete answers to these important and relevant questions.”
Patrick J. Leahy is the Vermont Democratic representative. He is part of the Judiciary Committee.
Sessions was questioned by Sen. Al Franken. Franken asked “you don’t believe that surrogates from the Trump campaign had communications with the Russians?”
Sessions replied “I did not, and I’m not aware of anyone else that did. And I don’t believe it happened.”
As investigations continue time will tell who is guilty or not.
