No Resignation
It doesn’t look like there will be any resignation anytime soon from Tillerson. He denied any decision to resign before or at present.
He said “I have never considered leaving this post. I am here for as long as the President feels I can be useful to achieving his objectives.”
“My commitment to the success of our President and our country is as strong as it was the day I accepted his offer to serve as Secretary of State, “said Tillerson.
The Secretary of State has made his allegiance certain. This is good news for the President who has his hands full.
He is currently dealing with many issues that include his own family. Then there are the natural disasters and the shootings.
These are just a few of what could seem like insurmountable challenges. The last thing the President needs is his comrades resigning.
One thing is certain at this time. Trump still has a strong backing in his corner.
Mike Pence, Rex Tillerson and John Kelly still have his back. He also has the support of many Americans.
