President Trump Wants All Intruders Sent Back Immediately As Immigration Policy Battle Continues

The immigration situation in the U.S. took center stage as politicians prepared for more elections.

Most concerning was the way those who crossed the border had been treated. It was clear that many Mexicans had entered the Country illegally.

President Trump had been calling for funding for the border wall but met many hiccups along the way. He saw such a wall as the solution to cutting back the number of illegal entries.

Until that was accomplished Trump sought other ways to deal with the issue. He wanted anyone who crossed the border to be sent back immediately, no trial no nothing.

What may seem hard line may be his way of saving the Country millions if not billions of dollars. Every time persons are detained it will incur a cost.

If they are prosecuted that will incur a cost, anything that is done to prosecute those who cross the border will incur a cost.

Lawmakers were seeking a way to deal with the current problem of the law about how long children could be detained. Many issues apparently are affecting the immigration problem and may only grow worse.

Immigration Problems

Trump claimed that many of the crime based problems in the U.S. were because of immigrants.

“So here are just a few statistics on the human toll of illegal immigration. According to a 2011 Government report, the arrests attached to the criminal alien population included an estimated 25,000 people for homicide, 42,000 for robbery, nearly 70,000 for sex offenses, and nearly 15,000 for kidnapping. In Texas alone, within the last seven years, more than a quarter million criminal aliens have been arrested and charged with over 600,000 criminal offenses. You don’t hear that,” he said.

However it was stated that the most of the arrests were for immigration related crimes and not other offenses.

This seemed to be Trump’s way of showing why the immigrants should be deported.

Send Them Back

“We cannot allow all of these people to invade our Country,” the President wrote on Twitter. “When somebody comes in, we must immediately, with no Judges or Court Cases, bring them back from where they came. Our system is a mockery to good immigration policy and Law and Order.”

Trump was adamant that anyone who enters illegally should be sent home.

“Most children come without parents … Our Immigration policy, laughed at all over the world, is very unfair to all of those people who have gone through the system legally and are waiting on line for years!” he continued. “Immigration must be based on merit – we need people who will help to Make America Great Again!”
