“It’s a jacket. There was no hidden message,” Stephanie Grisham said. “After today’s important visit to Texas, I hope the media isn’t going to choose to focus on her wardrobe,” adding, “(Much like her high heels last year).”
Grisham, who was the First Lady’s spokesperson, responded to queries about what the wearing of the jacket meant.
“There was no hidden message. After today’s important visit to Texas, I hope this isn’t what the media is going to choose to focus on,” she said.
“I’m here to learn about your facility,” Mrs. Trump said and added that she wanted to offer “help to these children to reunite with their families as quickly as possible.”
It seemed very possible that the First Lady may have overlooked what the jacket may cause others to think.
Unfortunately despite making it clear to officials she was willing to help, the attire didn’t go down well with the public.
Nevertheless the fact that she visited the children should still be considered.
It may also be wiser for the First Lady to choose her attire more carefully next time, unless she was truly sending a message.
If that was the case what could that message be after showing such concern prior to the wearing of the jacket?
