The drama surrounding Trump’s Asian tour continued. He received numerous criticism for trying to support Putin about any election meddling.
Democrat Lawmakers have been stern in their response to his comments. They disagree with the way Trump has handled International Affairs.
Trump showed a lack of commitment to Country as he pursued Putin. He also attacked Kim Jong-un who had called him old.
Trump tweeted “why would Kim Jong-un insult me by calling me “old,” when I would NEVER call him “short and fat?” Oh well, I try so hard to be his friend – and maybe someday that will happen!
Sen. Bernie Sanders tweeted “Well, at least Trump is consistent. Abroad, he has never met a leader of an authoritarian nation (Russia, China, Saudi Arabia, Philippines) that he hasn’t liked. At home he shows contempt for the U.S. Constitution and democracy.”
Seth Moulton responded to Trump’s hater loser comment. He tweeted “when will the haters and fools look themselves in the mirror…? I know you dodged the draft so it’s hard to appreciate this, but Russia has tried to kill Americans since WWII. That makes Russia what is called, to use a technical military term, our ENEMY.”
“Trump’s strategy is to let Russia abuse American democracy in order to save Syria, Ukraine, North Korea. What happened to America First?” Joaquin Castro tweeted.
Trump didn’t sit back and take any criticism without a response. He tweeted “when will all the haters and fools out there realize that having a good relationship with Russia is a good thing, not a bad thing. There always playing politics – bad for our country. I want to solve North Korea, Syria, Ukraine, terrorism, and Russia can greatly help!”
Trump tried to defend himself as he used not arguing as an excuse.
“I can’t stand there and argue with him, I would rather have him get out of Syria,” Trump said. “You have President Putin very strongly, vehemently says he has nothing to do with that. Now, you are not going to get into an argument, you are going to start talking about Syria and the Ukraine.”
But his tweets were greeted with other tweets from Democrats. Trump had tweeted about Kim calling him old.
Seth Moulton tweeted “let me suggest you try being an enemy he respects rather than a friend. I mean just try. Sorry this international diplomacy stuff is so complicated!”
Raul Grijalva tweeted “Donald Trump’s twitter account is a national security threat.”
