Advertising Analytics LLC tracked money spent by the two candidates. It reported that Jones spent $5.6 million while Moore spent $600,000.
Jones airwaves ads had focused on the sexual allegations against Moore. Since the scandal surfaced Jones had over 6,000 ads. Moore had about 1,100 for that same period.
It was clear that Jones had now built his campaign around Moore’s allegation problems.

What could be the cause of the huge difference in spending? Was it a lack of funds by Moore and his donors?
Does Moore believe he didn’t need to spend that type of money to win over constituents? Or could it be that the allegations against Moore had overwhelmed those would have donated to his campaign?
Regardless of the answer, it would be the voters who decided the outcome not the money spent.
