Is Ted Cruz Wrong For Considering Nationalists As Domestic Terrorists?

Trump Changes Tune

Trump’s lack of support was a definite blow to him. After Cruz and others condemned the attack he gave another statement.

He said “racism is evil, and those who cause violence in its name are criminals and thugs. Including the KKK, neo-Nazis and white supremacists and other hate groups that are repugnant to everything we hold dear as Americans.”

Cruz said “I think it’s incumbent on all of us, every American, regardless of party. Republican, Democrat — regardless of who you are, to stand together and denounce those lies.”

Trump asked “what about the alt-left that came charging at the, as you say, alt-right? Do they have any semblance of guilt?”

He went on “what about the fact they came charging with clubs in hands, swinging clubs? Do they have any problem? I think they do.”

Racism and hatred have long been an issue in America. It will always rear its ugly head unless everyone has a change of heart.

Using violence and thinking less of others as a solution won’t work.
