The Pressure Of The Russian Probe Hasn’t Dampen Trump And Allies In Anyway

Rosenstein Pressure

“They’ve been saying I’m going to get rid of them for the last three months, four months, five months,” Trump said Wednesday. “And they’re still here. We want to get the investigation over with, done with, put it behind us. And we have to get back to business.”

Trump spoke about the situation as his allies pressed for more information from Rosenstein.

“As far as the investigation, nobody has ever been more transparent,” he said. “I have instructed the lawyers, ‘be totally transparent.”’

Trump made these comments as during a news conference with visiting Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe.

Something Rosenstein said may have been responsible for the push for the documents.

“One or more of the memos may relate to an ongoing investigation, may contain classified information, and may report confidential Presidential communications, so we have a legal duty to evaluate the consequences of providing access to them,” Rosenstein wrote.

The House Judiciary Chair indicated his intention to subpoena James Comey’s memos.

Things are certainly getting hotter surrounding the Russian probe. Trump and his allies aren’t showing any signs of giving in to the pressure.

The investigators are pressing for more information and are willing to pursue anyone they consider a potential aide to them.

What will the outcome be was still a mystery, but something or someone will have to give eventually.
