No More Threat Trump Says As North Korea Praises The Result Of The Summit

Shortly after the Kim-Trump summit finished many concluded the summit a success. The long expected meeting went on without any hiccups or contention.

Now the North Koreans were applauding the effort calling it a success. They felt that Kim benefited the most from the meeting between the two men.

While on the other end Trump felt that what he got was a very good result. He now felt that any chance of war between North Korea and the U.S. was diverted.

It was also clear that it was believed the Korean Peninsula was now a safe place to live.

War Averted

“Everybody can now feel much safer than the day I took office. There is no longer a Nuclear Threat from North Korea. Meeting with Kim Jong Un was an interesting and very positive experience. North Korea has great potential for the future!” Trump wrote on Twitter.

Trump went on to say that North Korea was no longer America’s “biggest and most dangerous problem.”

It was expected that Kim would denuclearize as Trump felt this was important to peace in the Peninsula and the World at large.

It was also noted that Russia’s Vladimir Putin was right about direct dialogue being the best way to solve any issues with the Koreans.

Kim Happy

The Korean Central News Agency said that the meeting was successful according to reports.

“Kim Jong Un and Trump had the shared recognition to the effect that it is important to abide by the principle of step-by-step and simultaneous action in achieving peace, stability and denuclearisation of the Korean Peninsula,” KCNA said.

It was clear that Kim’s people were happy with the outcome and fully supported their leader.

“Today’s Rodong Sinmun wants to show Kim Jong Un played a huge part and seized a great victory,” said Moon Hong-sik. “If you look at just the North Korean reports from today it seems this week’s summit existed to create a new peace regime on the Korean peninsula and a new relationship with the United States. Denuclearisation was just an appendage.”

“For North Korea, they got exactly what they wanted,” Moon Seong-mook, a former South Korean military official. “They had a summit as a nuclear state with Kim on equal turf with Trump, got the United States to halt joint military exercises with South Korea. It’s a win for Kim Jong Un.”

However everyone didn’t see it that way.

Jeong Hyung-gon, a researcher at the Korea Institute for International Economic Policy felt it was all a show and was about covering their lack of strength.

“It’s propaganda in the end,” said Hyung-gon. “They are expressing their thoughts in order to cover their weaknesses.”
