Lies, Drama And Fear In The Russian Probe As Records Indicate Something Not Adding Up

The Russian probe had seen many individuals arrested and charged. It however didn’t retrieve the main purpose it was started.

Nevertheless the probe still pressed on to prove without a doubt that Russia interfered in the 2016 Elections and Trump knew about it.

There had been lots of drama, fear and even lies. Yet no solid evidence had been given despite many persons claiming collusion.

Trump had been denying any collusion for a while. It was proven that meetings took place between Americans and Russians but that was all.

Many persons close to Trump were questioned about their role and many denied any such acts. Investigators believed that many of these individuals were withholding information but why?

Trump And Russia

James Comey had said in his memo that Trump had denied sleeping in Russia during 2013. However records show that the President lied about his stay.

Flight records and social media proved that Trump spent a few days in Russia and didn’t leave in a short space of time like he claimed.

“He said he arrived in the morning, did events, then showered and dressed for the pageant at the hotel,” and then left for the event, Comey wrote. “Afterwards, he returned only to get his things because they departed for New York by plane that same night.”

Records showed that Trump spent Friday Nov. 8 2013 to Sunday Nov. 10 in Russia. This was contrary to the information he gave Comey.

Trump And Cohen

Trump had made it clear that he didn’t think his personal lawyer Michael Cohen would flip on him.

Despite this assertion by Trump many analysts still wondered if Cohen could be persuaded to turn on Trump.

The documents found in the raid on Cohen’s office haven’t been revealed. At this moment they still remained a mystery.

How troubling could this be is a very good question as it was unclear if the documents contained anything that could implicate Trump. Could there be anything to implicate his allies as well?

Trump was informed that he wasn’t a target in the Mueller probe, but some actions certainly made it seem otherwise.

“There really has not been any visible change since he was apparently informed of his status as ‘subject.’ Not being considered a target of the Mueller probe does not mean he can’t still be charged as they obtain additional evidence,” James Trusty said. “Not being a target for the Cohen investigation and search warrant is slightly reassuring, but again does not mean much in terms of whether he will ever be charged.”

Trusty served under the Bush and Obama administrations as a high ranking Justice Department official.

“We heard he had some proclivity to make tapes,” one Trump adviser said. “Now we are wondering, who did he tape? Did he store those someplace where they were actually seized? . . . Did they find his recordings?”

The thought of viable evidence in the hands of Mueller was certainly terrifying, but more terrifying was the wait.
