Hillary Clinton continued her onslaught on the President. She has expressed her disgust at how the Government has handled gun control.
Clinton has been one of the most outspoken Democrats in recent days. She hasn’t shown any signs of letting up after recent events in Las Vegas.
Is it possible that all of this is an effort to gain momentum for another run? Or is it all about the concern of those who suffer from gun related incidents.
America has been plagued with so many catastrophes it s mind boggling. Not much has changed in regards to gun laws despite this.
Her View
Clinton was recently interviewed by Jimmy Fallon. She appeared on “the tonight show”.
Fallon asked her about her new book. His question related to her not having a question mark at the end of the title. She responded by saying there is no exclamation mark either.
Clinton said she wanted to “invite people in to see what happened from my perspective.” She talked about pulling the curtain back.
Clinton said “I wouldn’t be so worried about my country and the world as I am now when I see what’s going on every single day.”
She made it clear that there is nothing that Trump’s Administration is doing that she would.
She talked about the issues in Puerto Rico as well.
Clinton said “it’s hard to figure out, you know, what are the priorities if 3.5 million Americans and Puerto Ricans are Americans.”
Gun Issues
Clinton made it clear she had no intention of keeping quiet.
“I’ve got the freedom to do that,” she said. “I’m not running for anything, I can talk about what is at stake in these different decisions that are being made.”
She made it clear that the NRA is included in what she will speak out against. Her disgust about the current gun laws is evident.
Clinton said “I can’t believe that one whole Political Party in the greatest Country on earth is totally sold to the gun lobby.”
Trump had earlier reversed a bill that stopped mentally ill people from getting guns. Clinton was devastated by that decision.
“I mean, this makes no sense,” she said.
She continued “and the vast majority of Americans, and the vast majority of gun owners, knows we need common sense gun safety measures. So I’m going to keep fighting for it and speaking out about it.”
It certainly looks as though Clinton has a case. She has promised not to keep silent.
Does this mean she could be pushing for another run in 2020? Or is she out just to help destroy the Trump Administration?
Or maybe it is all about keeping them in check? Whatever her reasons she has promised not to keep silent.
