The Russian probe had been a constant problem for Trump and his team. They had faced a lot of scrutiny from Mueller and his team.
Congress was also conducting an investigation. They had now begun to look into what may have happened concerning the Hillary Clinton email scandal.
This wasn’t enough to stop Trump Jr. from claiming that the system was rigged. He thought that the Russian inquiry was biased and many were hindering the “Make America Great Again” pledge.
Trump Jr. said the problem was coming from persons in powerful positions. He also felt the media was being biased as well.
Andrew McCabe
Andrew McCabe, former FBI Director found himself facing questions from investigators. The House Intelligence Committee wanted to know why he was given an ease from investigating Hillary Clinton.
Adam Schiff said “my experience has been that he has been a professional FBI agent and works with an impressive team of other agents. And I don’t know that I understand the calls that I’ve heard from some to fire him. They seem to be irresponsible, in my view.”
Trey Gowdy had an issue with what may have transpired following the revelation of messages from FBI employees.
Gowdy said “the deputy director of the FBI, there are a ton of questions, including the meeting between Agent Strzok, Lisa Page and Andy’s office, and if they were coming up with an insurance policy in case Donald Trump won — that’s devastating.”
