Meeting Woes
The President said in the CBS interview that it would be a god thing as he made reference to other Countries he visited.
“I think it’s a good thing to meet. I do believe in meetings. I believe that having a meeting with Chairman Kim was a good thing. I think having meetings with the president of China was a very good thing, he added. “I believe it’s really good. So having meetings with Russia, China, North Korea, I believe in it. Nothing bad is going to come out of it, and maybe some good will come out.”
All didn’t share the President’s sentiments and felt he would bring great hurt to the Nation.
“These revelations add to a body of evidence confirming an extensive plot by Vladimir Putin’s government to attack the 2016 election, sow chaos and dissension among the American electorate, and undermine faith in our democracy,” Sen. John McCain said in a statement. “If President Trump is not prepared to hold Putin accountable, the summit in Helsinki should not move forward.”
However Trump was sticking to his agenda to have a relationship with Putin.
“I call it the rigged witch hunt,” Mr. Trump said. “I think that really hurts our country and it really hurts our relationship with Russia.”
He made these comments while talking to reporters with British Prime Minister Theresa May.
