Trump Warns Netanyahu of ‘Third World War’ if He Loses Upcoming Election

Former President Donald Trump stated on Friday that there would be a significant conflict in the Middle East and potentially a “third world war” if he does not win the upcoming election in November.

Trump met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at his Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida. This meeting followed Netanyahu’s visit to the White House, where he met with President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris.

“If we win, it’ll be very simple. It’s all going to work out and very quickly,” Trump told reporters. “If we don’t, you’re going to end up with major wars in the Middle East and maybe a third world war. You are closer to a third world war right now than at any time since the second world war. You’ve never been so close, because we have incompetent people running our country.”

Predictions and Political Climate

Trump has previously warned that the world is on the verge of another world war, citing the conflicts in the Middle East between Israel and Hamas, as well as Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. He has also predicted dire economic consequences, such as a stock market crash, if he does not regain the presidency.

The meeting with Netanyahu occurred during a turbulent time in the presidential campaign. President Biden recently announced he would not seek reelection and endorsed Kamala Harris as the nominee. Harris has quickly gained support among Democrats and is now the likely nominee for the party in November.

During her meeting with Netanyahu, Harris described their discussion as “frank and constructive.” She emphasized Israel’s right to self-defense but also expressed “serious concern” about the suffering of Palestinians in Gaza.

Trump’s Stance on Israel

Despite past criticisms of Netanyahu, particularly after the October 7 attacks on Israel and the subsequent conflict in Gaza, Trump highlighted his administration’s support for Israel. He mentioned the decision to move the U.S. Embassy to Jerusalem and the withdrawal from the Iran nuclear deal.

“We’ve had a good relationship. I was very good to Israel, better than any president’s ever been,” Trump said.

The Biden administration remains hopeful about reaching a ceasefire agreement and securing the release of hostages held by Hamas. Trump, however, expressed skepticism, stating that the situation is “not acceptable” and demanding the immediate release of the hostages. “They have to be given back immediately because there can be no way they’re in good shape,” he said.

Potential Global Impact of the Upcoming Election

As the election approaches, Trump’s warnings of global conflict underscore the high stakes of the political climate. His meeting with Netanyahu and his comments on the Middle East reflect his continued influence on U.S. foreign policy and his commitment to his political comeback.
