Trump Says Democrats And Some Republicans To Blame For Setbacks

The President has no intention of taking any blame for a stall in Congress. The Senate has been criticized for months about the slow process of passing bills.

The health care bill has been the longest that Congress faced since Trump took office. There are other bills as well which have met stumbling blocks as well.

Trump says that it is the fault of some of his colleagues. He also blames Democrats for their role in keeping the process back.

Trump has had a hard time getting some of his legislature passed. Due to this problem he has taken the initiative on health care.

He recently signed an executive order after his Obama Care repeal bill failed.

Trump’s Comments

He made statements that condemned Democrats approach to legislature.

Trump said “the Democrats have terrible policy. They are very good at, really, obstruction.”

He also condemned some Republicans without naming anyone.

“There are some Republicans, frankly, that should be ashamed of themselves,” he said.

He said that some Republicans are “really, really great people. You had a few people that really disappointed us.”

Trump also made reference to Steve Bannon.

He said “Steve is very committed, he’s a friend of mine and he’s very committed to getting things passed.”

Self Praise

The President said that he was getting the job done. That there are many people who appreciate all he is doing.

He said he is receiving “tremendous accolades” for his work on tax reform.

The President also has welfare on his agenda.

“People are taking advantage of the system and then other people aren’t receiving what they really need to live,” he said.

He said “we are going to be looking very, very strongly, therefore, there for welfare reform.”

Trump faces stiff obstruction on certain matters. He is constantly trying to change many of the current policies in Government.

Trump has already made lots of changes since taking the President’s office. It is usually some policy that Obama has created.

Mitch McConnell and the President recently stood together as a sign of solidarity. Trump needs the Senate behind him to make his goals possible.

If this isn’t possible he will work with the Democrats he can control. The President can also use the Executive Order to get more done.

He was known to criticize Obama for doing this. Now he could find himself in the same situation.

It all lies with his colleague’s allegiance to his plans. The President takes no blame, but someone certainly has to.

There are many issues facing the American people. They want to see results, blaming others won’t solve the issue.
