Steve Bannon Staying True To Form By Asking Sen. Bob Corker To Resign

The feud between the President and Sen. Bob Corker just got bigger.  Steve Bannon has entered the controversy between the two.

His reaction was swift as he asked the Senator to resign. This has come as no surprise because Bannon promised to challenge Trump’s foes.

These foes are persons he say are in the White House or part of his administration.

Steve Bannon resigned recently after a tumultuous time in the White House. He vowed that he will be going after anyone who opposes Trump.

After his exit there was speculation as to what he would do next. It looks like Bannon intends to keep his promise.

Ongoing Feud

The feud showed its head recently when Trump said Corker not running was a sign of weakness. Trump also said that he wasn’t running because he told him he wouldn’t endorse him.

Corker denied what Trump said and actually gave a different account. He said that Trump wanted him to run again and would even endorse him to do so.

Corker had a phone interview with the Times. He said that the President was a hard person to contain.

Corker said he is working with the staff despite what he said about the President. He made it clear he want Trump to be successful. Corker said he wants the best for his Country.

Corker believes the people around Trump have served him well. They have kept him in check when it was most necessary.

Bannon’s Say

Steve Bannon said “if Bob Corker had any honor or decency, he should resign immediately.” He said this as he spoke to Sean Hannity on Fox News.

Corker calling the President childish was unacceptable to Bannon. This was in response to Corker tweeting about the White House condition.

He tweeted “the White House has become an adult day care center.”

Bannon believes Corker and many other Republicans law makers are at odds with Trump. He said they have “total contempt for the forgotten man and the base.”

Bannon said “the American people see: This is what they think about President Trump behind closed doors. He happened to tell The New York Times exactly what he thought. It is totally unacceptable.”

It looks like the President has Bannon on his side despite him leaving the White House. Trump is finding many of his law makers and colleagues at odds with him.

Having Bannon as an ally should help keep him in sound mind. The challenges he faces are significant. His relationship with his Party members could determine his success as President.

Steve Bannon has showed that despite what has happened he supports the President. The issue at hand though is more against him than for him.

Something he should think about. The spiral seems to be going downward instead of upward. That should raise a red flag that a different approach may be necessary.
