President Trump’s Woes Continue As He And Other World Leaders Hash It Out

The President of the United States of America continued to dominate headlines with his behavior towards other World leaders.

His next visit took him to the United Kingdom where he met with British Prime Minister Theresa May.

Trump attacked the British for its exit from the European Union. What he did was considered a serious blow May who could find herself facing a no confidence vote.

This outraged many locals who asked Trump where was his manners.

Sam Gyimah tweeted “Where are your manners, Mr President?”

The President was greeted with a blimp that was a baby resemblance of him as many protested his presence on the streets.

Trump also said he felt unwelcomed in Britain.

President Trump and Prime Minister May eventually told reporters that they would co-operate in the trade war.

War Of Words

“I used to love London as a city,” Trump said in a recently published interview. “I haven’t been there in a long time. But when they make you feel unwelcome, why would I stay there?”

“And when I say that I am talking about government because the people of the UK agree with me,” Trump added.

“I get thousands of notifications from people in the UK that they love the President of the United States. They want the same thing I want,” he said.

The protests on the street seem to give a different story but the President didn’t seem too bothered by it.

However his meeting with May got off on the wrong foot, which eventually led to the two leaders meeting with the media.

Pledge To Work Together

Once again it seemed like a case of putting your foot in your mouth for Trump. He had earlier made claims against Britain now he was singing a different tune.

“Thank you Prime Minister May for pursuing fair and reciprocal trade with the U.S. and once the Brexit process is concluded—and perhaps the U.K. has left the EU, I don’t know, whatever you’re going to do is okay with us,” Trump said. “Just make sure we can trade together. That’s all that matters.”

This could be considered good news for U.S. consumers and businesses that would be affected by the ongoing trade war between the U.S. and other Countries.

What could be more of a concern for Americans was the President’s behavior on the World stage.

He was the one who represented the Country and what was being seen wasn’t in its best interest.
