President Trump’s Attorney Michael Cohen Feeling The Heat After Getting “Thrown Under The Bus”

Michael Cohen was once President Trump’s personal attorney. He was recently reinstated to that position after Trump faced multiple legal challenges.

He has faced a barrage of allegations from various women and concerning the Russian interfering in the 2016 Election.

Trump had now said that Michael Cohen was the one to speak to regarding any payments to Stormy Daniels. He said he was unaware of any such transaction taking place.

This statement placed Cohen in a position where he stood alone on this particular statement he made about paying Daniels. What was noteworthy about the statement was the fact that Trump waited until now to respond. The payment of $130,000 to Daniels was released to the public for a while now and wasn’t anything recent.

Cohen also was on Robert Mueller’s radar for his connection to Trump during his political campaign. Mueller believed that Cohen played a role in Trump’s connection to the Russians; he was Trump’s personal lawyer.

Mueller Query

Cohen now found himself in a tough position as Mueller was looking into his role with Russia. He was responsible for bringing a letter to Trump from a Russian developer.

It was reported that it referred to a Moscow hotel deal while Trump was running for the Presidency.

This meant that Cohen faced multiple pressures from various entities. It was hard enough he had to deal with being thrown under the bus by his client the President.

Now he could find himself another casualty of the Russian probe, which had already convicted other persons.

On His Own

Cohen now stood alone about any payments made to Stormy Daniels. Daniels accused Trump of sleeping with her and seeking to silence her.

Trump responded to questions about making a payment to Daniels. This was the first time he had publicly faced questions in the matter. Trump said he had no idea such a deal had taken place.

The reporter asked “then why did Michael Cohen make [the payment], if there was no truth to her allegations?”

“You’ll have to ask Michael Cohen,” Trump said. “Michael’s my attorney, and you’ll have to ask Michael.”

Another reporter chimed in “do you know where he got the money to make that payment?”

“No,” Trump replied. “I don’t know.”

That reporter queried: “Did you ever set up a fund of money that he could pull from?”

Trump ignored this particular question which to some may signify that he did have such a fund.

Responding to Trump’s comment Daniel’s lawyer Michael Avanetti said Trump finally cracked.
