Could Omarosa Newman Actually Have Anything That Could Impair President Trump

Omarosa Newman once worked for U.S. President Donald Trump. Now she was on the opposite end of the Presidency citing possibly working with Special Counsel Robert Mueller.

Omarosa claimed she had a tape that covered a conversation with Trump while working for him. She once worked in the White House as Director of Communications for the Office of Public Liaison.

It was during this time period she allegedly recorded the President and was now using this recording to cause havoc.

The recording had had received the interest of Mueller who was working to find those guilty of any possible election tampering with Russia.

Mueller Interest

Omarosa claimed that Mueller’s office reached out to her and she was willing to share her information with her.

Recently on MNSBC’s “Hardball”, Omarosa spoke to Chris Matthews where she made some claims.

When asked if she only had two tapes, she made it known she had much more.

Matthews asked if there was “Anything Mueller would like to see?”

“If his office calls again… anything they want I’ll share,” Omarosa said. “Anything that they want, I’ll certainly cooperate.”

She was also asked if Trump could likely be impeached and she believed he would be.

However a question arose about how she got the tapes and if what she did was legal?

Overstepping Boundaries?

Washington attorney Mark Zaid zeroed in on the question of any illegal taping.

“Now if you’re recording, that is ratcheting up the level significantly because now it’s intentional, so it’s a major security violation for sure,” he notes. “But I’ve not seen anyone identify a (criminal) law that can reasonably and practically be applied to this type of situation.”

Concerning the accusations made by Omoraso Trump tweeted what he thought about she claimed.

“While I know it’s “not presidential” to take on a lowlife like Omarosa, and while I would rather not be doing so, this is a modern day form of communication and I know the Fake News Media will be working overtime to make even Wacky Omarosa look legitimate as possible. Sorry!” Trump tweeted.

Trump’s lawyer Rudy Giuliani recently appeared on Fox & Friends talk show. He felt she broke protocol by taping the President.

“She’s certainly violating national security regulations, which I think have the force of law,” he said on Fox News’ “Fox & Friends,” Giuliani said.

However despite the claim of being a breach of White House code of conduct, was there anything that could affect Trump and his allies?

It was possible that this one could become a big battle if anything was found to be useful to Mueller.
