John Kelly Hints At Slavery As A Billionaire Gets 1Million Signatures To Impeach Trump

Tom Steyer has been pushing to get Trump impeached. Steyer is a billionaire who is a Democratic mega-donor.

His desire to removed the President seemed to be bearing fruit. His petition has accumulated over 1million signatures.

While the billionaire works on his petition John Kelly makes things worse for Trump.

He recently gave statements that many considered as racist. This only serves to make things harder for the President to overcome.

Kelly is close to the President and his words could be seen as a reflection of how Trump feels.

At a time when the Russian inquiry lingers this won’t be good.

John Kelly

Kelly said “I would tell you that Robert E. Lee was an honorable man. He was a man that gave up his country to fight for his state, which 150 years ago was more important than country. It was always loyalty to State first back in those days. Now it’s different today. But the lack of an ability to compromise led to the Civil War, and men and women of good faith on both sides made their stand where their conscience had them make their stand.”

History has taught that compromising could be deadly. Kelly made it clear that lack of compromise led to the war.

What is more troubling was that slavery by the South was the main issue.

Ta-Nehisi Coates responded to Kelly’s statement. She said “shocking that someone charged with defending their Country, in some profound way, does not comprehend the Country they claim to defend.”

“Notion that we are putting today’s standards on the past is, in itself, racist—implies only white, slave-holding, opinions matter,” she also said.

Tom Steyer

Trump tweeted Wacky & totally unhinged Tom Steyer, who has been fighting me and my Make America Great Again agenda from beginning, never wins elections!

Steyer has been at Trump even before he was elected. He called on officials to impeach Trump. He said they “have a duty to speak out.”

Over 1 million persons signing the petition shows how some Americans are feeling about Trump’s leadership.

He was able to gather those numbers in about ten days. Steyer has reportedly sent letters to lawmakers and done some advertising.

The television ad usually ran during Fox and Friends. The show is often watched by the President.

It seemed Steyer placed the ad there to taunt Trump. Having knowledge the President watches the show.

But with all that is going on the President’s time in office faces an uphill struggle.

Those close to him need to be cautious of their words as it makes impeachment a greater possibility.
