Issue About Call To Soldier’s Wife Causing Tensions, Who Is Lying?

The controversy between President Trump and Rep. Frederica Wilson has heightened. John Kelly has also joined the feud in support of Trump.

Wilson accused Trump of telling a fallen soldier’s wife that he signed up for it. Trump denied he ever said such things to the widow.

Sarah Huckabee Sanders held a briefing in Trump’s defense. Now John Kelly has done the same.

This feud has left the American people wondering who is telling the truth. The whole situation has been causing ripples throughout the media.

The mother of the soldier also said Trump used those words. Someone is lying and the people want to know the truth.

Trump’s Side

Kelly said “it stuns me that a member of Congress would have listened in on that conversation, absolutely stuns me.”

He held a briefing responding to recent reports about Trump’s call to the fallen soldier’s wife.

“Most of you as Americans don’t know them. There’s nothing in our Country anymore that seems to suggest that selfless service to the Nation is not only appropriate but required.”

He made these comments about those who served in the Military.

Kelly seemingly talked more about what soldiers faced than what Trump did or didn’t do.

Kelly also made reference to his son who was killed while serving.

Trump tweeted “the Fake News is going crazy with wacky Congresswoman Wilson(D), who was SECRETLY on a very personal call, and gave a total lie on content!”

Wilson’s Side

Wilson story was corroborated by the soldier’s mother. That means that both Wilson and the mother is lying allegedly.

The Congresswoman said Trump’s call was “not a good message to say to anyone who has lost a child at war.”

“You don’t sign up because you think you’re going to die, you sign up to serve your Country,” she said.

Wilson responded to comments by Kelly as well. She said “he shouldn’t be able to just say that, that is terrible.”

She was responding to accusations about money. Money she said that Washington approved even before she became a Congresswoman.

It seemed that John Kelly was attacking Wilson to divert minds away from the present situation.

It also appeared as if Kelly was now doing Trump’s dirty work for him. This was his second briefing since becoming the Chief of Staff.

This tactic could very well be a move to discredit what Wilson is saying. Not focusing on the call Trump made and the allegations could all be about creating a distraction.

Many believe based on comments that Trump did say such things. But instead of owning up and apologizing he chose to discredit Wilson.
