FBI Facing Chaotic Times From As The President Lashes Out With Accusations

The President had some hard words for the FBI. He released a barrage of tweets accusing present and former FBI staff of illegal activities.

Trump believed that the a former FBI Director and others allowed Hillary Clinton to getaway scotch free. She was accused of emails that could be criminal. These emails were eventually deleted with many not seeing light of day.

James Comey accused FBI leaders of bowing to pressure from politicians. Comey also received backlash from Trump so the situation was ironic.

The issue wasn’t a good one, since the FBI are supposed to be a crucial part of its Intel.

FBI Resignation

FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe announced that he will retire in March 2018. This made Trump lash out at him with some vicious tweet.

“How can FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, the man in charge, along with leakin’ James Comey, of the Phony Hillary Clinton investigation (including her 33,000 illegally deleted emails) be given $700,000 for wife’s campaign by Clinton Puppets during investigation?” he tweeted.

“FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe is racing the clock to retire with full benefits. 90 days to go?!!!” Trump said in another tweet.

FBI Chaos

Comey tweeted “sadly, we are now at a point in our political life when anyone can be attacked for partisan gain. James Baker, who is stepping down as FBI General Counsel, served our country incredibly well for 25 years & deserves better. He is what we should all want our public servants to be.”

The department found themselves in a spot of bother. Present and former leaders cited varying issues plaguing the agency.

FBI Director Christopher A. Wray said the Trump administration was giving him a hard time. When Trump had assigned Wray, he assured him freedom to work.

Trump said “I know that he will again serve his Country as a fierce guardian of the law and model of integrity.”

James F. Yacone, a former senior F.B.I. official said “he’s got to be the top cover for the agency.” “He’s the chief fact collector, and he has to avoid being politicized. He has a difficult job,” he continued.

The constant tweets had made life difficult for Wray, but there was no let up from Trump.

Trump tweeted “after years of Comey, with the phony and dishonest Clinton investigation (and more), running the FBI, its reputation is in Tatters – worst in History! But fear not, we will bring it back to greatness.”
